This cloth is called "furisode"(a kind of kimono) in Japanese.In Japan,it's worn by
unmarried women on ceremonial occasions.My father took this in our house at Janyary 3,1996 as commemoration of coming-of age celebration. Incidentally ,this room, flower arrangement and picture are Japanese style.(called "tokonoma","ikebana",kakejiku" in Japanese.) |
