Our family Christmas party this year will be, on Saturday, December 9th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the parsonage in Kojimachi, where we had our Thanks-giving meal. This will be a more casual affair than the Thanksgiving dinner and we are asking that people bring "finger foods" and light snacks to share. "Santa" may pay a visit while we are there!     Because Christmas Eve is the same day as the 4th Sunday in Advent this year, we will be having two worship services on December 24th. In the morning from 9:30am, we will have a special Christmas Caroling worship service filled with prayer, Bible readings and song, followed by a special Christmas coffee hour. In the evening, we will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service from 5:00pm, in English. The Center Church congregation will hold their service in Japanese from 6:30pm.

    And then on Monday morning, Christmas Day, December 25th, we will be having a special Holy Communion Celebration worship service, beginning at 10:00am.
