EASTER 2006

    Again this year, GOOD FRIDAY WORSHIP will be a joint service with the Japanese Center Church congregation, beginning at 7:00pm, April 14th. Using both Japanese and English, this will be a time of reflection, messages, and prayer.

    And then on Sunday morning, April 16th, the halls and sanctuary will echo with the shouts of "He is Risen, He is Risen, indeed!"

    Beginning at 9:30am, we will celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord in word, song, and sacrament, at our EASTER SERVICE of Holy Communion.

    Special music for this service will include Chris H. (percussion) and Sean F. (trumpet) playing several numbers together; the R. family singing "He Manolo-tena" (I Commit Myself to the Lord) in Malagasy; and Nahoko, Yasuko and Keiko singing "Cold December Flies Away," accompanied by Thomas W. on the guitar. And of course our pipe organ will beautifully lead us while we in sing "Alleluia!"

    Following the service, an EASTER BRUNCH will be held down the hall in the fellowship area. Lots of finger foods, Easter goodies and coffee will be available.
