A great Golden Week down in Shimoda. Weather *and* waves turned out to be good (generally we get one but not the other). Went down the first weekend of GW and were treated to no crowds (surprisingly) and perfect fun in the sun. Travus wasn't as keen this time around to actually surf (compared to last year), though he did get out for a few rides. Think he enjoyed playing in the sand more this time around. Robert and his family came down as well, along with some other friends. Stayed at Tatado Beach Inn as usual, as its perfect for the kids and has easy access to the beach.
