Headed down for our second Shimoda trip of the season. Would go more often, but with Chizuko as pregnant as she is with Austin, not an option to travel often places more than 1.5 hours outside of Tokyo (about the max she can handle sitting in the car per day). Waves were *great* (sorry no photos) in that they were pretty much 1-1.5X overhead most of the weekend. Downside is that they were also mostly dumpers, so had to get an early drop-in in order to enjoy the wave.
