47 Japanese students chose A, going to a developing country which is their dreams, and 32 Japanese students chose B, getting a common job in their own country. The chi-square=2.85 of the two numbers indicates that Japanese students might tend to have a difficult time choosing between their own dream and a stable job. On the other hand, 23 Italian students chose A, going to a developing country which is their dreams, and 5 foreign students chose B, getting a common job in their own country. The chi-square=11.57 of the two numbers indicates that foreign students tend to make their dreams come true. The fugure=11.57 is much larger than 6.635. Comparing the two groups, the chi-square=4.69 indicates that the two groups have the culturally different criteria for decision-making. The Italian students tend to value their own dreams higher than the Jananese students who might seek for stability in their lives.
