E-mail

    In our last class, you learned how to:

    • choose "Mail Options" from the "Options" menu
    • type in your information for mail
    • read your mail
    • reply to mail
    • send messages to people

    This is a quick review. Read through the steps.

    Step One
    Click on Options, and then click "Mail and News Preferences".

    Step Two
    Click "Servers". Type in your Server numbers (it's the same for all of us here at Aso) and your POP User Name (this is the part before the @ in your e-mail address).

    Step Three
    Click "Identity". Type in your e-mail address (two times) and your real name.

    Step Four
    Last, click "Appearance". The important step here is to make sure it is set for "Use Netscape mail".
