DATE: March 17 and 18, 2006 (note * March 19th Ocean Swim Information listed separately)

POOL SITE: Kan Pacific Pool, Saipan, Northern Marianas

COURSE:
Long Course Meters, 6 Lanes, Starting Blocks will be used.

TIME:
Friday, March 17th           Warm Up: 1:00 pm, Meet Starts: 3:00 pm

Saturday, March 18th       Warm Up: 6:30 am
                                   Ceremonies: 8:00 am
                                   Meet Starts: Following Ceremonies
                                   Afternoon Session: 3:00pm

DIVISIONS:
Competition will be offered in the following age categories:
8 + Under,
9 + 10,
11 + 12,
13 + 14,
15 - 18,
19 + Over.

Several Masters events will also be offered . Age on the first day of competition will govern a swimmer's eligibility for any category. Masters events will be run by time regardless of age however, events will be scored in the following age groups:
20 - 29,
30 - 39,
40 - 49,
50 - 59,
60 - 69,
etc.

FORMAT:
Cardless meet. Timed finals. Colorado Electronic timing system with 2 buttons and one manual watch backup.

ENTRIES:
Swimmers are eligible to swim more 6 pool events however, only 6 pool events and the Open Water event will be counted for point scoring. Entry eligibility is explained
further in the AWARDS section.

ENTRY FEES:
$5.00 per individual event and $10.00 per relay team entry.

DEADLINE:
Entries must be RECEIVED NO LATER than March 3, 2006.

ENTRY FEES:
$5.00 per individual event and $10.00 per relay team entry.

AWARDS: Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, and Ribbons for 4th - 8th
places. High points Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 individual point scorers in an age group. High point awards will be presented to swimmers attaining the highest overall
point total for a maximum of 6 individual pool events. In addition, swimmers are encouraged to participate in the Open Water event on Saturday morning, allowing total of 7 events, 6 pool plus 1 open water.

Swimmers in the 13 + 14, 15 - 18, and 19 + Over categories must
swim 2 events on day one of the competition. Swimmers in the
8 + Under, 9 + 10, and 11 + 12 age groups are eligible to swim any
pool events. Swimmers are eligible to swim more than 6 events
however, any additional events would be swum as exhibition. Meet
officials would need be informed on which event(s) are to be swum as
exhibition.

The following point system will be used for individual events
1st - 9 points,
2nd - 7 points,
3rd - 6 points,
4th - 5 points,
5th - 4 points,
6th - 3 points,
7th - 2 points,
8th - 1 point.

High point awards will be given to the following categories:
8 + Under,
9 + 10,
11 + 12,
13 + 14,
15 - 18,
19 + Over.

Team trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams in combined
scoring. Relay points are scored as double, relay awards for 1st,
2nd, and 3rd place only. Only one relay per team will be scored.


CONCESSION:
A concession stand will be available during the meet.

HOSPITALITY:
Refreshments will be available for Officials and Coaches during the meet.
