Stock Data Feed - You may heard the term “stock data feed” at some point. However, you may now have known exactly what is meant by stock data feed. Here we discuss briefly the concept behind stock data feed and how stock data feed actually works.
Once a month, the universe of NASDAQ and S&p500 stocks are scanned for fundamental criteria. Both bull and bear market criteria are considered, so stock data feed is ready for a move in either direction. For every 2000 stocks scanned, only 100 meet the fundamental criteria.
Profits Run receives a real-time stock data feed. Every night after the market closes, our rigorous entry and exit signals analyze the 100 stocks (for every 2000) that made the fundamental cut. Stock data feed enters a trade on market reactions against a well-defined trend as the trend reasserts itself for another leg up (or down).
Only 2 out of 100 stocks generally meet the requirements for a new entry recommendation. These recommendations are published via the Daily Signal Report (DSR), which tells you precisely which stocks to buy or sell, and at which prices.
Selling short a stock is the reverse of buying long. When you place an order to sell short, your broker borrows the stock from other customers that are long that stock, assigns it to your account, and sells the shares. Your account is then credited with the cash from the sale and debited for the current market value of the stock. You must eventually replace the "borrowed shares" by buying them back (hopefully at a lower price) and returning them to the broker. This is called covering your short position. Your account is debited with the cash used to buy the stock and credited with the purchase price of the stock.
