Zeniarai-benten shrine is kind of hiddne behind some big hunks of rock, and there is a tunnel to get through to it. Its interesting to see a Tori like this infront of what looks like a cave entrance.
Inside the shrine is partially in a cave, and partially out of the cave, and there is water running through the cave.One of the major attractions of this temple is that it is believed that if you wash your money in this water, that it will bring you more fortune.
Naturally we wouldnt want to take the chance that this myth is foundless, so wash the biggest bill I have ;-)
Hanging from the ceiling is literally thousands of origami cranes, strung together.
After we finished the money laundering at Zeniarai-benten, we wandered along further to get to Tsurugaoka shrine.
