Welcome To A-SIDE RECORDS!
A-Side Records was founded in the early 1990s in Tokyo, Japan, by Shigeru Ueno
and Yoshinori Kaneko, two enterprising music lovers with distinguished backgrounds
in the Japanese music industry. Although the label ceased operating in early 1996,
the significant body of work issued by them contains many otherwise unavailable gems
from the late 50s and early 60s. The A-Side label was divided into two sections,
one being A-Side Records, the other Otis, named after Otis, the A-Side cat!
