1998.11.03 In 1996, 60 P.F. Sloan acetates were "discovered" in the
MCA vaults, and since then, plans have been made for them to be released on Varese
Sarabande, a label which has been responsible for some of the best P. F. Sloan-related
releases in recent times. This released has been delayed several times, so for the
latest information visit the Varese Sarabande
label. The latest given release date was 3 November, 1998, but once again, it has
been postponed. However, it seems very likely that this important collection will
be issued at some point in 1999. The liner notes have been written by the highly
knowledgeable Andrew Sandoval.
Varese have offered the following description of the CD:
"The ultimate P.F. Sloan collection, this compilation is drawn from over 100
studio quality demos Phil recorded between 1965 and 1967 for Trousdale Publishing.

Heartache, Danger Man - Secret Agent Man and Can I Get To Know You Better. Many of
these songs have never been heard outside of the recording studio (20 Tracks) $15.98
