Lois took the kids out to the park on the corner early in the morning in Kyoto.

Cassie and Takumi both loved the busses and the trains.
Here we are the Imperial Palace in Kyoto.
The kids were most excited to see a fire truck parked at the Palace.
After a beautiful day in Kyoto, we headed further south to the island of Miyajima which is famous for its many shrines and temples and most especially for its Tori gate in the sea.
Once again we stayed in a beautiful hotel with fantastic food. This one had a wonderful hot springs bath. The kids especially loved the hotel yukata that came in their size.
