Cassie and Takumi tried out the piano at Yumiko's house. When Cassie actually experimented with the piano rather than just banging on it, we started to think that maybe we should move the piano from Marin's house and see if Cassie'd like piano lessons.
Yumiko had lots of great toys to play with.
We got to go to another one of my favorite restaurants. This one is rice dish restaurant which the kids loved just like all the food in Japan.
Here the kids and are waiting in Yumiko's car while Lois takes one last shopping trip to Kimball's, the second hand store where we bought so much stuff.
Yumiko's family owns a "candy castle." This is a cookie factory and a candy museum. There are dress up clothes hence Cassie's costume. There are many beautiful scenes made out of sugar. We had fun dressing up and looking at all of the scenes.
I was very happy to get a chance to go out with many of the people that I used to work with in Komaki. It was great to get to see everyone again and see that they are all doing well.
We had a lovely time in Japan and can't wait to go back. We check the prices at IACE every month in case there is a great sale! We look at our photos often. Takumi has a special "norimono" book of all the great vehicles that he saw in Japan.
