A. 2 - Stands for Unity, confirmation, establishment a) A year to stand in Unity - Ecc 4:9, Matt 19:5 - Two shall become one, and two are better than one. It will be a year to walk in Unity, and move in the Spirit with other children of God, and with the church, then we will experience the joy of : Ecc 4:9 - Two will produce the following results b) Vs 9- Good reward for their labor c) Vs 10-Strength to lift each other d) Vs 11 - Warmth, iron sharpens iron e) Not quickly broken -It would be difficult to loose to discouragement God will confirm and establish His Past promises to us - Deut 19:15 - , II Cor 13:1 God is no man that He should lie, the year 2007, would experience a sort of Godﾕs hand on us by God fulfilling and confirming His past promises to us B. 7- Stands for Sabbath, and rest, and Accomplishment - A year to rest in Godﾕs Word (The rest of faith), which will in turn bring rest to our lives - Gen 2:1-3; Gen 5:24 a) Gen 2:1 - Talks of God finishing- that is accomplishing His purpose b) Vs.2 - Talks about resting - C. 9- God said I should add the two the result is 9 -Which stands for Finality, fullness, fruitfulness, Number of the Holy Spirit - We are going to bear fruit this year, it will be the climax of some of the promises and prophecies that have gone before us, and we are going to experience some workings and manifestations of the Holy-Spirit in our lives this year - Gal 5:22,23; I Cor 12:1-11 Gal 5:22,23 - Fruit of the S(s)pirit - It has to do with the Spirit/our spirit - It is a year where these promises would be fulfilled by the Spirit and by walking in the spirit I cor 12:1-11 - There are nine gifts of the Spirit - They help us to be effective and fruitful - A year to be effective and fruitful, as we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit - We need to listen and be submissive to the Holy Spirit and take steps that He would have us take. |
