- In 1977 I graduated in psychology from the University of Padova, but I was already interested mostly in languages .
- Mandatory military service in the Italian army from 1978 to 1979
- Worked from 1980 to 1982 as an interpreter in Tripoli, El Zawiya, Misratah (Libya), Baghdad and Samarra (Iraq)
- Arrived in Japan for the first time in late 1982. Resident in Tokyo since then
- After working as a teacher of Italian with several Tokyo companies, I started work as a translator at Idioma, Ltd. in Kamiuma, Tokyo, in 1984
- Studied Japanese at the Waseda Daigaku Gogaku Kenkyujo ("Goken") from the summer of 1985 to the fall of 1988
- Diploma in Japanese from the Waseda Daigaku Gogaku Kenkyujo in 1988. Full-time translator from then on
- Studied German at the Goethe Institut in Aoyama 1-chome from 1991 to 1998 and finished with excellent results
- Started assembling computers for myself and friends in 2000
- Granted permanent residence in 2000
