Tel. 3207-0328. Menu in Chinese and Japanese
The place could not be more authentic. On my first visit, we were the only non-Malay customers and everybody stared at us as we entered, but customers and the man who seems to be the owner turned out to be very friendly. Food is good and includes Nasi Goreng, Lakhsa and other Malay mainstays, even though, strictly speaking, this is a Chinese Malay restaurant. Alas, they also have a karaoke machine, lots of records and a menu only in Chinese and Japanese. Thinking about it, this might help keep away the riffraff. Malaysia is easy to find. Get off at Shin Okubo Station, cross the street, turn right and keep your eyes open. The little stairway before the Doutor shop is what you are looking for.
