A friend and I visited this restaurant in December 2004. It is located on the B1 level of Shinjuku Island Tower Complex (Nishi Shinjuku 6-5-1). The décor is very nice. The waitress was a Vietnamese woman wearing a very fetching ao dai.
The food was very good, but on the expensive side. The Vietnamese restaurant My Dung in Ikebukuro and Shinjuku are better value.
We ordered a papaya salad (950yen) but they were out of papaya. Instead we ordered a different salad which had a bit too much vinegar. The two main dishes we ordered were excellent: chicken curry (1550) and catfish (1550). A 10% service charge was added to the bill.
The menu is in both Japanese and English. Unfortunately, the English menu is incorrect. In the meat section, the first two dishes are described as “beef” dishes. The Japanese kanji says they are chicken.
