I've been going to Pasha for a couple of years now. I've been meaning to tell you about it but I've been busy. This month the Tokyo Journal did a review and they liked it too. Stop by if you are in Ikebukuro.

Pasha: Staff is mostly non-Japanese which is usually a good sign. Cook looks South Asian. One of the bartenders is J-American, which I found out only after chatting up my date in English right in front of him. I found him out when I noticed the smirk on his face (I never learn).

The food is eclectic. Last time I was there we had the Vietnamese noodles, enchiladas, and Indian Curry. Everything was excellent except that the naan wasn't particularly large or tasty. The person ordering curry said they didn't want it spicy so I can't tell you how hot it might get. I washed it down with Corona. Prices are reasonable.

It does get crowded - especially on typical date nights. Pasha is in East Ikebukuro. Rough directions.... from the station turn right at the first street after the Bic Camera Computer Store. Then take the first left. It should be on the right side (B1) across from either a parking lot or Naka-Ikebukuro Park depending on how far down the road it is.
