MINISTRY TO THE BLIND

SHIZUOKA EVANGELISTIC CENTER FOR THE BLIND
This ministry was begun by a pastor who was blinded when his shovel struck an unexploded II WW bomb in Japan. There is a home for blind ladies, a Christian Lending Library (braille, tapes, CD, etc.) and counselling for all who seek it. It has a strong witness to the blind throughout Japan and is lodged in the same building as the Shizuoka Reformed Church. It depends upon offerings from Churches and individuals throughout Japan as well as from overseas for the support of its ministry.
