How to order:

1.  Print out a copy of the appropriate order form.   

2.  Complete the form for the item(s) you wish to order, and make a copy of it. 

3.  Keep one copy of the form for yourself, and give the other one, with payment in an envelope with the Scout's name on it, to either the Troop 15 Uniform Chair (who will be at troop meetings on about the first Wed. of the month) or to the Scoutmaster.

Personal Growth Agreements before Scoutmaster's Conferences: 

Going before a Board of Review is like applying for a job.  Personal Growth Agreements are the application form.  You show up for the "interview" - the Scoutmaster's Conference - in full uniform with your "application," and the Scoutmaster can, after the conference, OK you for the Board of Review.  

When you are getting near to making your next Scout rank, download one of these 2-page Personal Growth Agreements for the rank you intend to make.  Take some time to fill it out, and bring it, completed, to your Scoutmaster's Conference.  Be sure to sign it!  If you need information on attendance, please check with the Troop Scribe or SPL.

Kanto Area Plants Guide available.

Tokyo Historic Trails

Do you like hiking?  Did you know  you can hike around Tokyo and its environs, learn many interesting things about our city, and also earn the Tokyo Historic Trails Patch? 

The five Tokyo Historic Trails were designed by several Scouters a few years ago, and made available to all Scouts, Scouters, and families who would like to hike them. 

As of late August, a new trail has been added, the Kawagoe Historic Trail, bringing the total to six. 

Each trail is designed to be easily "hikeable" for Cub Scout youth through adults.  Trails are not extremely strenuous, and should take about a half day to complete, except for the Hakone trial, which requires a bit more time. 

Pick a trail, bring along a compass and a lunch, and hike it.  Hike any three (or more) of the historic trails (a Scout is honest, so we'll take your word for it), send in your information and Yen 400 for each patch (plus a bit extra for postage), and you'll have it done.  Please see below to download textual information for each trail separately, PLUS its map.  You can also download the entire set of 5 trails and maps (separate downloads) as well.

Kanto Campsite Directory

This campsite directory was written in 2000, as a project.  The material in it is mostly current, although there have been some changes.  Please note that there is a "form" at the end of the directory, on which you could note details about a favorite campsite of yours.  You can also send that info to us by e-mail to bsa15@hotmail.com. 

It is highly recommended that you check with the campsite itself to confirm prices, accessibility, etc.  Maps were scanned and most of them are reasonably clear, with a few exceptions where the original was a bit too dark.  The file is about a 6 MB download.  As noted above, click on the Adobe icon at the top of this page to download Adobe Acrobat Reader, so that you can read these files.
