Since 1966, Troop 15 Boy Scouts have been active at St.
Mary’s. Our Troop year runs from September through June, although most
of our activities are over for the year by late May or early summer. Throughout the year,
we have a program of activities for boys in grades 6-12, including hikes,
campouts, and joint activities with other Scouting units, both B.S.A. and
Japanese (Scouting Association of Japan). Activities at weekly Wednesday evening Troop
Meetings include training for campouts, working on Scout skills, planning
for hikes and campouts, games, and many other things, including
fun!
Contact the Scoutmaster by e-mail, regular mail, or see any
Troop 15 Committee Member for information.
Initial chartering of Troop 15 was by the
B.S.A. in 1966. Our chartered organization is St. Mary's International School, a
Catholic international boys' school run by the Brothers of Christian Instruction, a worldwide
religious order. We are a B.S.A.
unit, and follow B.S.A. practices. We are part of the Boy Scouts of
America Far East Council, located in the suburbs of Tokyo.
