FWLA Annual Meeting - June 30, 2008


The Annual Meeting of the Foreign Women Lawyers' Association will be held on June 30th to celebrate a successful year and to confirm the new Executive Committee.  This meeting is open to current FWLA members only.

We wish to thank everyone - members, speakers, guests and sponsors -- for the contributions and support that have made possible one of the FWLA's most successful years ever.

The FWLA is also proud to announce that it is a supporting organization of the Impact Leadership Symposium being held in Tokyo on October 21, 2008 and co-hosted by GOLD (Global Organization for Leadership and Diversity) and GEWEL (Global Enhancement of Women's Executive Leadership).  FWLA members can attend the symposium at a discounted rate.

NEW FEATURE: We are launching a book exchange at our regular monthly meetings so please bring the books you read over the winter break but do not have the heart to discard and share them with other FWLA members and friends. We will have a special door prize drawing for those who donate more than one book to the FWLA book exchange.

FWLA meetings are open to the public.  Everyone -- men and women, lawyers and those interested in the law or simply the featured topics of discussion -- are always welcome to attend our meetings so please invite your friends and colleagues.
