whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else.
You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you.

as you give thanks through him to God the Father.

I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever.

because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, because he remains with you and is in you.

(John 14-16 to 17)

Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have.

they will place their hands on sick people, who will get well."

So far as the Law is concerned, however, I am dead--killed by the Law itself
--in order that I might live for God. I have been put to death with Christ on his cross,

In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate.
The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness,

and he named the light "Day" and the darkness "Night". Evening passed and morning came

Before the world was created, the Word already existed; he was with God, and he was the same as God.
From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things;
not one thing in all creation was made without him. The Word was the source of life,
and this life brought light to mankind. The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has never put it out.

You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye,
and then you will be able to see clearly to take the speck our of your brother's eye.

But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed.
They will rise on wings like eagles;
they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.

(Isaiah 40-28 to 31)

Everything that happens in this world
happens at the time God chooses.

He sets the time for birth and the time for death,
the time for planting and the time for pulling up,
the time for killing and the time for healing,
the time for tearing down and the time for building.

He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy,
the time for mounrning and the time for dancing,
the time for making love and the time for not making love,
the time for kissing and the time for not kissing.

He sets the time for finding and the time for losing,
the time for saving and the time for throwing away,
the time for tearing and the time for mending,
the time for silence and the time for talk.

He sets the time for love and the time for hate,
the time for war and the time for peace
