Hitoshi SUZUKI, CPA

Unfortunately I am not a relative of the motorcycle maker but an certified public accountant in Japan. I have my own CPA office as a tax specialist and also working for Showa Ota & Co.(Ernst & Young International) as a consultant for going public and developing environmental auditing practices.

Near my house there is Okazaki National Research Institutes. You can consult with the site for the map around it. However all the persons who know me have left the institute. I do not know you can find my house exactly.

Background

Born in Okazaki(please click here, if you read Japanese) in 1954. Graduated from the School of Commerce, Waseda University and started my profession at the Tokyo office of Coopers & Lybrand in 1977. Registered as a certified public accountant in 1981. Established my own office in 1989. Appointed manager of Showa Ota & Co., Nagoya office in 1992.

Changes in Accounting Aspects and Internal Control JICPA Journal edited by Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountant, April 1994 (available only in Japanese) This article expresses the idea that the basic concept of evaluation of internal control was changed along with three accounting aspects: (1) classical models; (2) decision usefulness; and (3) information economics and explains the COSO report briefly.
