JAPAN PRO BASEBALL FAN HANDBOOK, compiled by Wayne Graczyk, Issued yearly 1976-present, contains all rosters, schedules, stats, etc; 1976-83 40pp., 1984-86 44pp., 1987 52pp., 1988-90 102pp., 1991-present 124pp. 1988-present guides contain statistical registers of all gaijin since 1950. 1989-present guides called "JAPAN PRO BASEBALL FAN HANDBOOK AND MEDIA GUIDE".

AMERICANS IN JAPAN", compiled at various times by Edward A. Broder and/or Melvin A. Baily and/or Wayne S. Graczyk. Initially issued in 1975 as "JAPANESE PRO BASEBALL FOREIGN PLAYER REGISTER"; at least 5 revised editions, in 1976,1978,1980,1982, AND 1986. 30-40pp. each. Beginning in 1988, this info was incorporated in the "JAPANESE PRO BASEBALL FAN HANDBOOK" (above).

THE BASEBALL HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM, by the (Japanese) HOF, translated by Philip Block. C.1993 guide to the HOF, contains much historical info, 10pp.

FOREIGN PLAYERS IN JAPAN 1936 - 1949, compiled by Ralph Pearce and Jeff Alcorn, 12pp., 1994. Contains additional information based on recent research not included in Graczyk's guides.

THE BASEBALL JAPAN GUIDE 1994, by Jim Allen, 103pp. Ala Bill James, this guide provides detailed statistical analysis and commentary on all Japanese teams and players.
