Cosmetic design for consumer products

Designed for the hospital and testing lab BethPrep 3000 is a urine sampling device which allows for minimal handling of the specimen and reduces the chance of accidental exposure.

A standard filter is inserted in the pullout drawer on the right. The BethPrep 3000 automatically samples and then disposes of the remaining urine. It then runs an automatic cleaning cycle and is ready for use again in seconds. The filter is removed and sent out for analysis in the normal way.

Desk SPA is a product aimed at the home and office market. In Japan, where central heating is not the norm, forced-air heaters, mounted on the wall or in the ceiling, cause cold drafts running along the floor. Portable electric heaters are too dangerous to be used in the office as are gas heaters. Office workers routinely drape blankets across the knees in an effort to keep warm.
Desk SPA addresses this problem with a new type of sealed heating element, which heats the feet directly and safely. Only a brightly lit switch signals that the Desk SPA is at work. The PJC-T4 is a phone operating on a prepaid card, used in hospitals, retirement homes and other types of closed environments. The card is issued by the phone owner in various prepaid amounts. The phone also acts as a controller for TV use which is also debited from the prepaid card.
One difficult aspect of the design brief was that an existing receiver needed to be incorporated into the final product. This situation actually meant that the design of the total phone was directed by this already existing element.For details contact: info@persjapan.co.jp
