A Simple Biography— Hmm, without going too much into details, I have been in Japan now for 9 years or so, long enough to have seen and experienced some interesting things. Some of that we'll avoid. Started out teaching English at AEON, a large conversation school, and then worked with Time T.I. Communications teaching company classes. For a little while, I also worked at an audio/visual production company that was making English teaching materials, and then got into translation and proofreading. More proofreading, although occasionally I do get something fun to fully translate.

Add to that a background in Information Systems Management (University of Central Florida), and it's easy to understand why I prefer to work in technical- and computer-centric topics. Not that it's easy, just easy to understand.

Typical Stuff of Interest — I have found that a lot of what I read and come across exists only in Japanese, so with a habit of finding a cold beer after work, and occasionally studying, most of it is readable. So, every now and then, in order to share some info, I spend a little time and work on a item that is of interest. As you'll notice, more than specializing in any one area, I enjoy variety.
