The home I built and the garden I grew are two of my greatest loves and accomplishments.   They give me peace, hope and strength.  

It all began in 1996 when I decided that, in addition to our home in Oregon in America, I needed a home close to the place I grew up in.  

My mother was not well and what she needed was hope.  What I tried to give her was the hope of a new environment, in the clean, clear air of the mountains.  The thought would help her survive.  Unfortunately, she passed away before she could see the house built.  However, the house remains a gift, the best I could give, to her and what she meant to me.  Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who has shared my ups and downs and we live here together in our beautiful home at the edge of a forest.

The photographs on this page and the following pages are just a part of our environment.  We would like to share this aspect of our lives with you.
