I am very excited to show you the highlights of our travel experiences.  Our theme, if we have one, is "The tropical Pacific Rim" it's beaches, climate and, best of all, food.  These aspects help us narrow down our destinations, as we feel life is too short to see all parts of the world otherwise.

The energy and grand scale of the People's Republic of China; the gourmet foods and unspoiled green seas in Thailand; the sacred and artistic Bali; the exotic and tropical islands of Malaysia and the interesting contrast between old and new in Singapore.  Each new place and culture stimulates us to think in different ways and lifts our spirits almost as much as the spices do.  Once you get a taste you can't do without it.  S.E. Asia is such a place, ever so rich in cultures and climates.

My experience of building a home made me look into a new dimension of traveling.  I became interested in the parks and gardens in my trips to New Zealand and Australia, focusing on the natural environment.  

I will never forget the many colorful sites of private gardens and Hugley Park in Christchurch. 

I want to travel much more, to new places and cultures.  I will never stop this wandering.
