Movies
Movies are a great way to learn about culture and current vocabulary; however, it might be difficult to keep your interest after you watch a movie a couple of times. Also, it is too tempting to read the subtitles. I am afraid many people end up "reading the movie" and do not really hear the English as well as they should.

For those reasons, I suggest that you use the movie as a starting point to find a screenplay or book that interests you. After studying the story through the screenplay or book, then watch the movie again - you will understand it much better, and will be able to concentrate on the language more than before.
