Newspapers
I recommend newspapers only for advanced students. For most learners the newspaper is too unfocused, too general.
As your skills advance you may enjoy reading the newspaper. A great way to keep up your vocabulary is to subscribe to an English language newspaper and get all your news from it.
However, it is hard to read such a general thing as the newspaper. I think it is much better to read a focused publication such as a magazine or a fan club newsletter.
