Born

1957 in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand.

Education&
Training
1974 - Enrolled in Northeastern Institute of Technology, Chiang Mai and majored in Ceramics in the Faculty of Industrial Design.
1977 - While studying at college, worked at Piyadon Ceramic Studio in Chiang Mai for five years, specializing the designing of Sawankalok wares. Received the awards for the designs.
1981 - Graduated from the institute.
1982 - Joined a Japanese NGO (SVA) as an instructor of UN sponsored pottery project and printing project at the refugee camps in Thailand.
1987 - Went to japan for further training in pottey. Studied first with Mr. Iwao Onuma, lwate, for one year.
1988 - Moved to Karatsu, Saga Prefecture in the southern part of Japan and studied with a master of Karatsu-style ceramics, Mr. Tarouemon Nakazato the 13th, for three years.
1991 - Returned to Thailand and established a studio, Doy Din Dang Pottery, outside Chiang Rai city.

1993 - Group exhibition with four northern artists at the River City Complex, Bangkok..
1994 - Solo exhibition at Akane Gallery in Mishima, Shizuoka, Japan.
1994 - Solo exhibition held at Sen Art Gallery, Bangkok..
1995 - Group exhibition with the northern artists, held at Imperial Queen's Park, Bangkok..
1996 - Solo exhibition held at Gallery Kawatoku, Morioka, Japan.
1997 - Solo exhibition entitled "Clay, Ash, and Fire" was held at Marsi Gallery, Suan Pakkad Palace, Bangkok.
1998 - Was invited to exhibit for the 3rd Asian Exhibition of Arts and Crafts
in Fukuoka, Japan.
1999 - Group exhibition, Chiang Rai Art Exhibition, at Ralabhat Institute, Chiang Rai.
2000 - Group exhibition held at an art 9allery, Chiang Rai.
Prizes&Honors
1988 - An unglazed black vessel was accepted for the prestigious Annual Exhibition of Art in Japan, Nitten Exhibition, held at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Tokyo.
1990 - Received a special award at the Arts and Crafts Exhibition, held at Fukuoku Art Museum, Fukuoka
1992 - Received two high awards from the 6' National Ceramics Exhibition, Bangkok.
1993 - Won the second prize at the Asian Arts and Crafts Exhibition held at Fukuoka Art Museum, Fukuoka.
1995 - Won the third prize at the 19th Annual International Ceramic Competition, Fletcher Challenge Award Exhibition, Held at Auckland Museum, New Zealand.
1997 - Received a special award from the 2nd Asian Exhibition of Arts and Crafts held in Fukuoka, Japan.
2000 - Received a special award from the 5th Asian Exhibition of Arts of Crafts held in Fukuoka, Karatsu, and Taiwan.
