The population of Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan was 25,553 in 1993.
Places :
 Chijeni in winter Temple Chigenji.
Takahiro Kyougoku built Temple Chigenji for his mother, a Buddhist saint, at Kyokaidoh.
 maeo-bunko Maeo Library.
Shigesaburo Maeo, who was a famous Congressman of Japan, was fond of books. After his death, his wife donated about 35,000 of his books and built the library in his hometown, Miyazu.
 Ido-Bunko Moving Library.
Miyazu City Local Government provides a library service on wheels using a van that goes to people who live beyond, a distance of about 30 km away from downtown Miyazu.
Asaichi Asaichi.
At Asaichi (Morning Market), farmers and fisher men sell their fresh crops and early catch of fish from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m except Sunday and Red Letter Days.
