Humayun Mughal
was born in Rawalpindi. There he grew up and received his education.
More than Urdu or English he has delved deep into Japanese literature.
Japanese is a language of metaphors, symbols and dialogue. That
is why what ever Mughal wanted to say he has done in the form
of dialogue in a dramatic style. So he has said all those things
which as a nation we should always keep before us in the form
of dialogue as if being uttered in a trance.
Humayun Mughal and his family are devoted Muslims who believe
in saints and religious scholars. That is why instead of narrating
the realities and historical truths himself he has turned towards
those revered personalities to whom these are ascribed. This
book is a unique and individualistic effort in which Humayun
Mughal has in a beautiful diction represented the emotions and
feelings of all those Pakistanis who are living abroad.. Can
we who live in Pakistan deny the genuineness of his desires?
