Jutting up between Tokyo Metropolitan Prefecture on the east, and Yamanashi Prefecture on the west, Fujino and the neighboring town of Sagamiko form Kanagawa Prefecture's extreme northern border. [NB: on the map, the blue and orange lines basically represent the Chuo Expressway and JR Chuo Railway Line.]
