The Fujino Town Offices
|
|
Fujino's town offices are located just a minute's walk east of the JR station. Built in their present location shortly after Fujino was incorporated as a township in 1955, the offices provide the normal official services for residents, and also furnish visitors with informative pamphlets and other printed information about the town. Telephone inquiries should be in Japanese, since the offices lack the staff to deal with spoken inquiries in other languages, although they will respond to faxed inquiries in English. Address faxed inquiries to Mr. Yamaguchi in the Machizukuri Department. I hasten to add that the staff have always been friendly and helpful whenever we have needed their services; I suppose it's the way you come to expect things in a town of this size.
