Perfect Baby, Perfect!

No single frame is more fitting for this section than this one from my single best moment in Dawn of the Dead. When watching the movie for the first time, it was with this scene—nay, with this very shot—that it all came together. I knew then and there that there would be no turning back: Dawn of the Dead was indeed the coolest movie ever made!

I ask, how can one not resist the horrifying charm of the precise moment when Roger loses touch with reality? In this single moment boils excitement, shock, terror and ultimately, pity. It is for me the climatic summation of the entire film.

This is a cool moment.
