Kurosawa 3, Nariki 8 MTB trails　「黒沢･成木」 (21.6km, 425m, 1.5hr)

There are some short but interesting trails starting near Monshuuin 「聞修院」in Kurosawa 3 and Shinmei temple 「神明神社」 in Nariki 8. You can join a hike trail that comes out on the old Nariki-kaido that bypasses Fukiage tunnel from the Nariki side - also possible on foot from the Kurosawa side, but not on bicycle. It may also be possible to descend on hike trail to Kurosawa from the Shinmei temple hill climb - not evident without further investigation, and probably only over rough and steep terrain if so. I'll try to check it out by end of 2008.

A Belgian bakery, Konohappan, opened in 2008 along this route near Monshuuin. You can get a soup set or coffee with good bread here. The choice of bread is limited the price is average but the location is very good.
