(The following suggestions are geared to Netscape Navigator, although most would apply to any web browser on Macintosh or IBM compatible computers.)
The main page has a list of ministries representative of the work of PC(USA) mission co-workers and associates in Japan. Find the things that may interest you. Personal information on missionaries can be accessed from those pages. You can always return to the main page. ECO numbers represent accounts available for direct support through the PC(USA) Worldwide Ministries Division.
If you want to use information from this web site for a church bulletin board, just select the page that interests you and print the page. On a color printer the result is quite nice, but even in black and white the page graphics are usually legible. For clearest results, do not select "print background". On most browsers, with this setting "off" a color printer will give you the text fully formatted as you see it in black, with color pictures on the white paper background.
If you just want the text to present information to a prayer group or small group study, select "Save as" and save to your own hard drive as text. This is very quick. Any time later you can print the information for your private use.
If you want to save the entire page (with graphics) on your computer for later use, it gets more complex. Usually you will need special applications: WebBuddy, WebWhacker, and Adobe Acrobat can perform this function. Netscape Navigator (Gold) can be configured to do this, as well. For those using Macintosh computers, Print2Pict (shareware) can be used to "print" the page as a graphics file for later printing.
Any individual picture or photograph can be saved by clicking on the item and selecting "Save this image."
If this page proves useful or interesting, don't forget to bookmark it so you can return easily later. Information on this website is constantly changing and expanding.
