Nagoya Union Church

Missionaries: Mary Kay & Frank Sapp

Mary Kay has acted as the volunteer pastor of Nagoya Union Church since 1987. Prior to that time, missionary pastors who were living in the area took turns preaching and they or their spouses held Christian Education Classes when it was possible and appropriate to do so. Over the years, the number of ordained pastors serving as missionaries to the Central area of Japan has dwindled and their duties have become more intense. As a result, the Church Council called Mary Kay to work with the church in addition to her other mission responsibilities. (Frank also occasionally participates when his other duties allow it.)
