Africa. It is the oldest of continents, it is the youngest of continents. It is everything you've ever thought it was, nothing like you thought it would be, not always what it seems to be, and more things than you can possibly imagine, all at once. Just when you think you have a handle on the place, you find out how wrong you were. Go there and see Africa for yourself, if you're not reading this from there already. You will be changed by it in more ways than you could believe, much less explain to your friends and family back home. And you never will figure it out. Nobody ever does. It's just too big for a single human brain to comprehend.
