Mr.
R. Janik (English)
after his divorce in 1981, he married Ms. S. Brigleb (English) in 1982. This is according to Cuyahoga
County's online divorce records and marriage records.

Jeff King
(social studies) This is adapted from an Aug. 2004 obituary in The Plain
Dealer: King lived in Berea for 40 years. He was 62 and died of complications
of cancer. He was a retired
coach, teacher and Berea council president. He coached football, basketball, wrestling and track. In 1989, his Berea High basketball
team won the Pioneer Conference.
He was named conference coach of the year. He also founded and ran the Berea schools' alternative
program for underprivileged students. He later spent 10 years as an associate
professor of government at Baldwin-Wallace College. He spent eight years as councilman at large and six as
president. He helped create the
Berea Recreation Center and the Rocco J. Colonna Industrial Parkway. He helped bring about the Browns'
practice center in Berea and make its address 76 Lou Groza Blvd. He also co-owned the Bank of Berea Antiques.

just retired from Berea High on July 1 [2005], having spent 35 years teaching
English. I started at Berea as a
sophomore (10 11 12 were the only grades there at the time; there was no
middleschool) and for all but the college years, I have been there ever since
in good old room 226.... I have homes in both Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
and San Diego, CA which I will be visiting during the cold, snowy winter
