Ceylon Dimbula Kenilworth, Campion, or Pettiagalla are classic high grown teas from Sri Lanka; bright copper colour and brisk flavour

Ceylon Uva is well known as one of the three "Princes of Tea"

Darjeeling Pussimbing Estate is one of the few fine Darjeelings that will take milk well. Pussimbing tea is organic and fair trade

For a slightly smokey tea, ideal for after dinner, we recommend the following:

Ceylon Galle comes from the southern part of Sri Lanka,
and produces a full flavoured, dark tea

Keemun Hao Ya from China has a delicious complex flavour

Darjeeling Castleton First Flush Castleton is probably the most famous of all the Darjeeling Estates, and has consistently held records for tea sold at auction

Darjeeling Second Flush Teas, picked in the summer, are mellow and rounded, and more mature than first flush teas. M&P's Tea is proud to have obtained top quality leaf from the finest gardens We recommend the following:

Darjeeling Castleton Second Flush Castleton is perfectly balanced and has a natural muscat flavour

Darjeeling Orange Valley Second Flush Orange Valley is the new name for the Bloomfield Estate, and is very sought-after for its fabulous fruity flavour

Darjeeling Pussimbing Second Flush Pussimbing is a fair trade estate, and all its teas have the additional health benefits of being organic.
