These shelves mainly store our clothes but also some computer-related items, my vacuum cleaner, and office supplies. I love the fact that they cover up their contents to give a smooth front. The last shelf doesn't match because it was rescued from being "dai gomi". For those in the U.S., large items that need to be disposed of have to be picked up as big trash and require.a special sticker that you have to pay a fee for based on the size of the item. The last cabinet has some residue on it still from the stickers that we peeled off of it when we hauled it home. The grey drawers on the right are full of my husband's music collection. I put white dividers at the front of each drawer for a uniform look rather than have random covers show through. Most of the CDs are stored in flat packs rather than jewel cases so there is an immense number of discs. That stack is exceptionally heavy and would topple if it weren't held in place by the other shelves. The DSL modem is next to it and a few more drawers with misc. electronics items are next to it. You can also see another side effect of living in an apartment in Tokyo which is 20 years old - pollution has left soot on the wall. This cannot be scrubbed off. Believe me, I've tried. The wall coating just started to come off when I tried. :-p The red bag is also gone now (it's full of books for return to a shop as well).
