Korea Solidarity for Conscientious Objection (KSCO) - made up of 30 civic groups and lots of individual supporters was kicked off on Feb. 4, 2002. The aim of the KSCO is to make the issue of conscientious objectors more public and draw people's attention. The KSCO is trying to put more focus on legal support, consultation for the draftees and research on the alternatives of military service.
