The Ramsay Pipeband plays regularly around Kansai (Osaka, Hyogo,
Kyoto) including at popular international festivals like the Nishinomiya
International Exchange Day, and the annual International Beer and
Wine Summit held at the Sky Tower Building in Osaka. The band is
often invited to British parties and events, music festivals and
opening ceremony.

Lindsay Cameron Kawai (Nomiyama) founded
the band with six other women, all playing bagpipes. Her mother
Maud sponsored her. The band's first performance was at a wedding. |
| 1990 |
The first male member joined the band. |
| 1992 |
The band played at the wedding ceremony
of Mr. Ichikawa who had instructed them since its foundation.
It was the band's first time to play except practices. |

Snare, tenor and bass drummers joined the
band for the first time |

The band was featured on the TV programme
Tatenaito Suku-pu. |
| 2002 |
Visited Kirkwall City in Orkney, Scotland
and established a good relationship between Kirkwall City Pipeband. |

Invited Kirkwall City Pipeband to the Kansai
Highland Games. Accompanied them to Performances in Hiroshima
and Mie. |
| 2005 |
Participated in World Pipefest 2005 held
in Edinburgh. |
| 2006 |
Participated in Pipefest 2006 held in Shanghai. |
