Born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada (yes, Ken!), I have lived in Quebec City and now Montreal for the past 20 years. Accountant by profession, but in heart always a student of spirituality, psychology, and nature. Work part-time, but am consumed and nourished by the raising of my kids (2 and 4). With family and friends, I love to explore the arts and the outdoors. All of you on the Foxlist have been inspiring companions for more than a year now.

I am a CS practitioner and eco-feminist from Brooklyn, NY. I am in the process of starting a monthly Festival celebration in Brooklyn or Manhattan. I work in the housing & community development field. I am seeking a way to turn eco-feminism from an intellectual system into a working revolution, via the Institute for Eco- Feminism. I play guitar and drums and ride motorcycles.

Blessings and love from a spiritual feminist, roaming Roman (now Anglican, albeit "New Age") who strives to do what she can to make the world a better place. Born in Erie, PA, I've lived in Ohio (Cleveland, Ashtabula Co., and Youngstown) and now New York City where I work for Kroll Associates, a corporate investigative firm, and am politically and spiritually active. An independent liberal Democrat, I serve on Queens Community Board 2 AND my church vestry. Theatre, music (B'way, torch, Irish, opera), art, spiritual/New Age reading, social justice/environmental causes (Amnesty, WWF, P-FLAG, etc.), my Mac, and the internet are SOME of my interests. But I try to find time for me, my two cats and my two terrific young-adult kids.

intellectual - PhD at Cambridge UK, followed by 25 years research on general relativity (the mathematics of space- time and gravitation) now mainly centred on gravitational radiation from stars; more recently research into the brain and consciousness; working alongside many organisations concerned with the enlargement of consciousness to an awareness of ourselves as an integral part of a living earth; writing (apart from Relativity, one popular book, Reality through the looking glass, and currently a book on the theology of creation)

bodilly - being married, discovering the unity of body, mind and emotions through Reichian work, involving myself in circle dance/sacred dance, a bit of Yoga, T’ai Chi ...

and spiritual - Christianity, but being enriched by many other traditions including the native American/shamanic and Hindu practices which make up for the too-patriarchal form of established churches.

With Creation Spirituality (I am now chair of the UK Association for Creation Spirituality) it all seems to be coming together, and the world is becoming more beautiful for me.

I was born in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada and now live in Oshawa, Ontario, with my wife, confidante, and Fox List lurker Betty, my two precocious and lovely daughters Lindsay and Alysha, who are 10 and 7 as I write this in 1997, a Shetland Sheepdog named Jazzmine, a Tabby named Mischief, a Hamster named Bucky, and an indeterminate number of tropical fish. I work for the CBC in Toronto, which is about as far away from Oshawa as Outer Space. I have a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Toronto, specializing in Earth Physics. I sing and play piano, organ, and synthesized accordian and banjo in the New Country/Old Rock band Just Cause, and I play occasional trumpet for the Xcentric Dixieland Band, The Royals, and the Waltzing Weasel House Band.

I don't have any special interests; I'm pretty much interested in everything. Gardening, art, music, computers, economics, philosophy, spirituality, childrearing, cryptic crosswords, science, history, calligraphy, songwriting, letter writing, net surfing...

I live in Mississauga, Ontario and am the pastoral leader for an interdenominational faith community "Ruah" in Toronto. Our community is only 20 months old. We formed to explore contemporary christian theology and are evolving more and more towards a creation-centred theology.

If anyone has any resources or suggestions we would be very grateful. In the near future I hope to augment my M.Div. with courses from UCS.

Wilfrid Dube wilfrid@ibm.net none I was born in Ottawa back in 1934. This year I retire from teacher education for French Immersion at the University of Regina. I defended my doctoral dissertation on Cardinal de Berulle at the Sorbonne back in 1966. One year before Matthew Fox arrived in Paris. So medieval mystics and their influence on spirituality has always been an interest. I am gay and want to work on becoming a 'mystical bear'. Fox's keynote to Dignity has traced out my paths. These will lead to visit the University of Creation Spirituality where I would like seek more inspiration. Wilf.

I am now a student in the Doctorate of Ministeries program at the University of Creation Spiituality. I resigned from my position as a mental health therapist and opened my own private practice Center/Peace. I hope to bring more of a spritual perspective to my work with people. I am also working with hypnotherapy and healing.

Married for the second time. My kids are all grown up and gone: 2 girls, one boy. One grandson who lives in England with, as one might imagine, with his mother, my youngest, and his dad, a German citizen. We garden a lot. And I write. Formerly a university professor but had my fill of that after 25 years. Have been away from academia for the last 15 years. Will reach retirement age soon, but I have no plans to retire until they start throwing dirt over me. I expect I'll be gone by then.

I am passsionate about groups, community, interconnections, the New Universe Story and its implications - and my garden. Because of my strong curiosity, I am a fervent believer in lifelong learning. I am working towards allowing my inner child out to play and to finding a soul-mate.

My path - born and raised a Catholic in the 50s and 60s, long years of rejection of all that, yet all the while yearning for something "more", a God/Mother as I have been calling her/him/it of late. Then Buddhism, particularly Zen. It wasThich Nhat Hahn who sent me back to re-examine my Christian roots. The more I read the more I realised that spiritual paths have a central core, a connectedness. Buddhism and Thich Nhat Hahn in particular have been instrumental in teaching me meditation and mindfulness in every moment. Reading Natural Grace I am excited to learn about the new directions in Science, and how the spiritual and scientific can reflect and reinforce one another.

My work - community worker with women, immigrants, activist for Aboriginal and immigrant rights, playwright writing bi-lingual plays with communities, and now an artist with a continued interest and committment to healing the earth and all her creatures.
