Someone showed me jazz chords when I was about 12 years old. I spent the next few years developing a personal improvised style playing with whichever rock band would have me.At 16 my grand mother's inheritance bought me my first good keyboard which launched my career as an artist in Manchester bands like:"Only the Black Pig" and " Rock Bottom".
Time moved on and in each school I taught at over the past 25 past years I had at least one student band and one faculty band.
Now there just ain't enough hours in the day!
I cut my most recent C.D. probably yesterday! .My Marantz MR60 keeps me at the cutting edge - ready to send the latest tune out to D.Js and radioshows etc.

I wrote the score for my first show in 1967 ... an irreverent Monty Python -style review staged at Chorley Old Road Congregational Church, Bolton! Since then I have written many songs and scores for many shows.
I have recently been recording albums with:

"Makondeko" (Tanzanian Swahili East African Music)
"Joe Lee Wilson" (American Jazz .... Pop and Rap!)
"Teri Suzanne" (Doki Doki Family Perfect T.V Show)
"Keith Barlow" ("Millenium Bug" song writer)
For many years I have been writing music and lyrics for bilingual shows in Japanese theatres and for Perfect T.V.
I recently signed a recording contract with Columbia Records.
Another C.D. of my kids songs will be produced in 1999 by Columbia Records to be included in the successful Kids Art books authored by Teri Suzanne.
One show (December 1996) featured a Sanukite Stone ensemble headed by Ms. Fujii... the only one of its kind in the world .... I hope to be making a C.D. with The Sanukite Stone instruments and Ms. Fujii in February this year.
