As an interdenominational congregation, Tokyo Union Church maintains full fellowship with all Christian bodies and fulfills its discipleship through cooperative labor with ecumenical efforts in Japan and around the world.

It seeks to express the unity of the member churches and organizations in Jesus Christ, promote its collaborative works in the fields of mission, education and service by the Church, and contribute to the ecumenical movement of the world.

The Christian Conference of Asia (CCA) is a regional ecumenical organization representing fourteen national councils and nearly 100 churches in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong SAR China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand. The Tokyo Union Church is linked to CCA through NCC-J, as NCC-J is a member of CCA.

The NCC's member communions - 35 Protestant, Orthodox and Anglican church bodies - work together on a wide range of activities that further Christian unity.

Ecumenical News International (ENI) is an international agency for news stories and documentation on the ecumenical movement and the life of the churches in the world. It provides ENI Daily News Service and free-of-charge Daily ENI News Highlights by e-mail, and publishes the printed ENI Bulletin every two weeks.
